Chuck began building pools as an employee of Hawkins’ Gunite Construction in the late 1970’s. Then, he enjoyed many years at Field’s Construction, branching out on his own in about 1997.
With the exception of electrical and plumbing jobs that require licensed electricians and plumbers, Chuck has done every part of pool building. That gives him special insights as he helps you plan your personal pool.
Chuck also has extensive experience with building and remodeling houses. He started working with his home builder father as a teen and has occasionally done houses and commercial buildings thru the years. It means he can ‘see’ your project in a more comprehensive way than others might be able to.
Just one example: while he was building the pool at a new home construction site, he solved a tile problem in the house that was stumping the contractor and the tile subcontractor. (Unless the contractor told them, the homeowner never knew. Chuck doesn’t like to make others look bad).
The part he enjoys most is meeting and working with each new homeowner. Everybody is unique, especially the children.
